Third party websites (OTAs) advertise on your trademark (hotel name) without your permission and garner the benefits to themselves. This leakage is turning out to be extremely costly for hotels. It is essential to reduce this dilution of branded search traffic to OTAs.

It is the OTA's source of business with the highest profit margin so of course they have no plans to stop it, if anything it's on the increase. You can't blame them for stepping in where hotels are not investing. They are in business to make money and profit.
